Changing Managed Care Health Plans or Doctors

  • After you enroll, you can change your MCO or your MEDALLION PCP within the first 90 days. Call 1-800-643-2273.
  • After 90 days, call the Medicaid Managed Care HelpLine to ask if you can change. Call 1-800-643-2273. Sometimes you can change for a special reason.
  • Open enrollment is a 60-day time frame each year when you can change MCOs or MEDALLION PCPs for any reason. You will get a letter telling you about open enrollment.
